May 31, 2017 is the WHMIS 2015 deadline for Canadian Manufacturers & Suppliers to transition  
In February 2015 Health Canada amended WHMIS legislation to include the international GHS standards. Manufacturers and suppliers now must take steps in reclassifying products, relabeling, and creating SDSs to replace MSDSs. The deadline for this transition is May 31, 2017.
