Tutor & Learner Interviews - We need YOU!
For the fourth year, we are participating with The ECC Learning Community Class (English 101 and ESL Level 10 Students) in an interview project. ECC students will interview our learners and tutors, and then write profiles about them. This is a mutually beneficial project that provides us with success stories to share and ECC students with interview candidates who share their language-learning experience.

Interviews will be Wednesday, March 15 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Gail Borden Library. We are looking for fifteen tutors and learners to be the interviewees. In addition to Spanish, the ECC students' native countries/languages include Polish, Thai, Hungarian, Ghanaian, Bulgarian, Indian, and Iraqi. If you or your learner shares this language, please volunteer! ECC students will be able to use their native languages in the interview.

Please contact Yadira or Jody for more information or to sign up. If you are interested, but not available at the set time, please let us know and we can try to make other arrangements.

Adults Remain On Our Wait List

There are 84   potential learners currently on our waiting list. These learners need to be tested before they can enter the program, and are not ready to be matched. We have a different group of learners who are tested and ready to be matched.

Matching these learners is our priority as they have been waiting the longest for a tutor. We do everything we can to match our tutors and learners as fast as possible. We must find a pair that has the same availability, and this often slows down the process.

If you are currently waiting for a learner, we have dates scheduled in February for testing of new learners. Thank you for your patience.

The following learners are available to be matched.  We have not been able to find a tutor with the same schedule.  Are you willing to work with any of these learners?
