Congratulations Barret Lee!
Barret Lee ('17) is a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. 1.5 million juniors took the PSAT and entered the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) competition.  Of those 16,000 students with the highest PSAT scores are recognized as Semifinalists and invited to continue on in the scholarship competition. From there, the pool is narrowed down to the 15,000 Finalists. We don't have any gear you can purchase for this, but it's an awesome accomplishment - way to go Barret!

On Friday, March 3, students dismiss at 11:30 a.m. to provide a three-hour block of conferences for parents with concerns.  This block of time is from noon to 3:00 p.m. and we ask that if your student is not working up to potential or you feel communication with an academic teacher is needed, please e-mail Mrs. Nussbaum. Requests will be taken through March 1st; she is out of the office from February 21 - 23 so if you request a conference during those days, she will get back to you when she returns.
Returning Student Registration Deadline Has Passed
Thank you to everyone who registered your current Freshman, Sophomore, and/or Junior student for the 2017-18 school year. If you haven't already, we really need you to do so this week. Return the completed forms and the $275 commitment fee to Mrs. Fitzwater at the front desk. If you have questions about finances, e-mail Jeanne Osterbuhr
New Student Registration information will be available later this week and New Student Registration begins Monday, March 6.
Apply For Tuition Assistance Through March 15
We do not want tuition to be a barrier to anyone. We have something very special here and we want to share it! If you would like to pursue financial assistance there are two steps:
  1. To apply for financial assistance, including the Spalding Scholarship from the Diocese of Peoria, the FACTS Grant and Aid form must be submitted by March 15.
  2. In addition to completing the FACTS Grant and Aid form, contact your Pastor to see if there is any additional assistance your parish can provide (Please note that every Central Catholic family in our Partner Parishes already receives assistance that bridges the gap between our non-affiliated and affiliated tuition rates.)
For additional information, please email me or call 661-7000, ext. 304.
