2017 9th ANNUAL
SOT RESEARCH CONFERENCE
CALL FOR PAPERS
Dear Colleague,

This upcoming year's SOT® Research Conference in Marina Del Rey, California on May 12-13, 2017 will be
a great opportunity to present research and for attendees to learn what is newest in SOT and TMJ related care.

Please note extended deadline for submissions is February 28, 2017, so please finish up your submissions and forward them to me in the near future or contact me for help or suggestions.

These conference proceedings and presentations will be another big step for SOT and craniodental collaborative care for the treatment of TMD.  It is essential that doctors in clinical practice share their experiences so that our researchers directing healthcare research have an accurate guide how to direct their future studies.

All abstracts from prior years have been published on the SOTO-USA website and can viewed by clicking here and all conference attendees receive the full conference proceedings (100 - 200 bound pages) at no charge.  To purchase past conference proceedings please click here.

All of the SOT Research Conference Abstracts ( 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016) have been published in the Annals of Vertebral Subluxation Research, are available for searching through MANTIS (a major alternative healthcare search engine), chiroindex.org (a major chiropractic search engine) and wikichiro.org.  The 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016 SOT Research Conferences are available to view on YouTube for free.

All abstracts from the conferences will be published in the Quinquennial SOT Compendium of Peer Reviewed Research and full conference proceedings are offered free to every chiropractic college library nationally and internationally.

A majority of the papers accepted for the SOT Research Conference have then later been submitted to chiropractic and interdisciplinary research conferences with many being accepted.  Following that the next step is publication in a peer reviewed journal.
SUBMIT YOUR PAPER NOW

Now would be a great time to prepare for this year's SOT Research Conference (May 12-13, 2017) by submitting a paper or abstract.  The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2017.

To begin the process of submission all that is needed is to send in a preliminary submission and we will personally help you with the process of completing the submission.

For information about how to submit a full submission to the SOT Research Conference please click here.

For a copy of a patient consent form (needed for just about any type of study to be published) click here.

For a fill in the blank case report form to use to submit an SOT related case report click here.

Sharing a research study at the prestigious 9th Annual SOT Research Conference will cement your legacy in the annals of healthcare research and is both an educational and enjoyable process.

Lastly as the conference chair I would be happy to help you both prepare your papers for not just this upcoming SOT Research Conference but to submit to a peer review journal of your choice.

We are dedicated to helping doctors get their SOT related research published to help further build a diverse interdisciplinary evidence base of information.  I try to help doctors just as I was helped when starting out and had no clue about research or how to write a paper.

If you have any questions or I can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] .

Charles Blum, DC
SOT Research Conference Chair
