When one of our former librarians, Charlene, told PCL that homeless women in Providence were in urgent need of feminine hygiene products, we knew we had to help. The nonprofit social services agency, Amos House, says that sanitary pads and tampons are among the products least likely to be donated to them by the public, leaving many of their female clients in urgent need. PCL is helping Charlene to coordinate a large donation of these essential items to Amos House. You'll find a donation bin at all PCL locations until the end of February.
