Wireless Upgrades to Begin in All Agencies
|
|
Once scheduled, an RF-Works crew member will call your agency 24 hours in advance of your scheduled visit to provide an estimated time of arrival. The RF-Works crew will perform all work associated with the upgrade, including both an assessment of hardware needs and the installation of that equipment.
|
|
You will be able to identify the RF-Works crew by their company-issued badge. Upon their arrival, they will look for the location of your Aruba device and the location of the internet router (where your internet service comes into the building). They will replace the Aruba with a new
Cisco Wireless Access Point
(WAP). RF-Works will install any additional equipment—additional WAPs or repeaters (signal strength boosters) —needed to ensure adequate coverage of your retail, wholesale (if applicable), receiving and storage areas.
You can anticipate only minimal disruption to your operations during the upgrade. However, if your Aruba, Internet Router or new WAP equipment is in an active work area, RF-Works will need access to that area to complete the upgrade.
The Liquor Enterprise will cover the cost of the assessment and installation work, including equipment, parts and materials.

The new February shelf tags have been mailed to all Agencies. These shelf tags show two prices: the bottle price, and the bottle price with tax included.
All shelf tags must be replaced with the new set on February 1.

Single Shelf Price: Talking With Your Customers
|
|
On Feb. 1, new shelf tags will go up in all Agencies as part of the single shelf price initiative. Some customers may have questions about this change. There are several tools to help you communicate this change to customers. First, display this
flyer announcing the change
in your Agency. It was designed to fit in your social responsibility display. A copy was mailed with your new set of shelf tags. Feel free to print additional copies of the flyer to post in your Agency.
Second, use these talking points to answer questions from customers, and reiterate key points about this change.
- The Liquor Enterprise is making this change to reduce confusion for you, the customer. The base price of a bottle of spirituous liquor is the same across the state; however, what you ultimately pay varies after sales and other applicable taxes are added.
- Shelf tags used to show just the total price with tax included. Because tax rates vary across the state, the price displayed on those tags varies. This was confusing to some customers who shop in multiple locations.
- What is changing is the shelf tags. Shelf tags now show the base price, and the total price with tax included.
- What’s not changing is that you have always paid taxes.
In addition, customers may notice a slight difference in price of up to four cents. If customers ask about this, let them know that this is due to a recent rule change.
