The Power of Friendship
What happens when 5 boys decide that the boy in their class who learns differently from them is going to be invited to be a part of their inner circle? Amazing things happen! This short video clip shows how naturally friendships have been formed between six 5th grade boys and the benefits they are experiencing as a result of these friendships.
Parent centers could use this clip as a part of their bullying workshops. This clip could also be provided to teachers or guidance counselors in the hopes that they use it when working with kids on bullying. Additionally, it might extremely impactful for a parent to show this clip during their IEP meeting.
Outcome: Enhancing your center's ability to better reach and effectively serve families in your target population.
