IEPI Dual Enrollment Workshop

This session is designed for secondary and post-secondary partners who will help shape the agenda by noting key questions they have about dual enrollment implementation. Information shared will be designed to support the development of new and the scaling up and strengthening of existing partnerships with a focus on students from underrepresented groups.

New CTE Teacher Professional Development
  
This 12-hour course is designed to help new CTE teachers develop their teaching toolkit, design effective instruction, and reflect on their own teaching practice. Teachers will walk away with practical tools to help them design, deliver and assess authentic lessons for CTE students.
 
Subject modules will include Lesson Planning, Assessments, Tech in the Classroom, Teacher Vocabulary, School Protocols, Course Syllabus, Course Outline, etc. Questions may be directed to Raelynn Sharp.

Your Region 4 CTEIG Technical Assistance Provider, Office of Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, will be conducting a FREE one-day workshop at  Stanislaus Office of Education on March 22, 2017 from 8:30am - 3:00pm. This comprehensive workshop will include an overview of course sequences and pathway development.

Adopt and Revise Existing CTE Courses
for 'A-G' Approval Webinar

 

Reinventing the wheel is not always necessary when writing a CTE, A-G approved course. The UC Portal has a wide variety of courses you can adopt for your course list or alter to align to articulate to the Community College. Come learn how to make existing courses your own, while aligning your curriculum to the Community Colleges and California State Universities for a seamless transition for your students. Please view flyer for additional details.
