Steven R. Adams gets third time felony DUI case dismissed!
|
|
Steven R. Adams faces off against a Brown County State trooper who claims advanced training in roadside impaired driving enforcement and expertise in drug recognition. Despite the paper credentials, he’s no match for Steven R. Adams.
Steven Adams demonstrates who the real trained and knowledgeable person is.Steve identifies the serious errors made by the trooper in executing the stop and the trooper’s failure to comply with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Manual in administering field tests. This was enough to fracture the troopers credibility.
Always the aggressive advocate, Steven R. Adams further demonstrates that the trooper’s testimony and written report greatly exaggerate and contradict the reliable video evidence. The judge dismisses the case declaring there is not even a “valid reason for the stop.”
In an additional breakthrough from this case, Steven R. Adams compels the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lab Technician to admit that she engaged in confirmation bias when analyzing the defendant’s urine. Confirmation bias occurs when the technician interprets results to match a preconceived belief, namely that the suspect is guilty. Steven R. Adams comments that he doesn’t know why the government wants so vigorously to convict innocent people, but he is thrilled that justice prevailed in this case.
Be sure to have the experience and the aggressive advocacy on your side when the government vigorously attempts to convict you, call Steven R. Adams.

Kansas Sperm Donor Ordered To Pay Child Support: Can It Happen In Ohio?
In a recent and interesting case, a Kansas man, William Marotta, was ordered by the state to pay child support for a child he fathered through artificial insemination in spite of a written agreement that he would have neither parental rights nor financial obligations to the child. Even more surprising, it is the state of Kansas, not the child’s mothers, that is seeking the child support.
Marotta, who initially arranged to provide his genetic material to a lesbian couple in 2009 in response to a Craigslist ad, executed a contract and provided the sperm directly to the couple who performed the insemination without the help of a physician. The mothers split-up several years later, and one of them later applied for public assistance for the child. It is at this point that the state of Kansas pursued, as states routinely do, a child support action against the biological father in an attempt to recoup its costs in support of the child.
