SOPH HOP '17
Masquerade

Sophomores arrived at Brookside Manor last Friday night (February 10), wearing dazzling attire and ready to party. SBA's annual ""Soph-Hop" featured an elegant evening of dancing and dining in a masquerade-themed ballroom, complete with flowers, feathered masks and party beads. Also, formal pictures were available, and a prop-filled photo booth offered lively opportunities for all to strike party-poses. It was a night of glitter and glamour for the more than 80 guests who enjoyed this year's Soph-Hop.

SPIRITUAL LIFE
Adopt a Sister

A new ministry began this week called ADOPT A SISTER, originating  from the Spiritual Life Office.  Basically, students sign up to go to the Basilian Motherhouse to meet the sisters, share in conversation, and have lunch together.
Our students took pictures with the sisters and became so involved in conversation that they forgot the time. Before they left, they gave each sister a pack of homemade cookies baked by one of our seniors. spiritual life

It was a beautiful sight to see - 2 generations chatting and enjoying each other's company. The sisters enjoyed having the students and thanked Sister Germaine for bringing the girls. Sister Germaine said it made her heart smile and  hopes to go again in the near future, perhaps during Easter.  The decision to do so was unanimous!!
