Increased Attendance & Robust Sales Cap Off the 2017 Toronto Boat Show

The 59 th annual Toronto International Boat Show, North America's largest indoor boat show, saw all signs of positive growth for the boating industry with a nearly 10% increase in attendance from 70,643 last year to 77,105 attendees in 2017 over the show's 10-day run, marking one of the highest-attended shows in the past five years

"The show delivered its largest and most comprehensive advertising and marketing plan across the province," says show manager Cynthia Hare, "and exhibitors reaped the rewards with not only double-digit attendance growth over the first half of the show, but also with quality attendees who were eager to spend."

A secondary objective of this program is to generate sales statistics - frequently requested by media. Accuracy of numbers we provide is reliant on exhibitor participation in the program.

This year, the BUY A BOAT & WIN program reported
1,082 boats sold by dealers who participated in the program by submitting ballots for boats sold. In 2016, the program reported 984 boats sold; in 2015, 843 boats; and in 2014, 772 boats.

Thank you to all who participated!
