Ekklesia Christmas Gatherings
Dec. 11th- Angels Proclaimed Him
Dec. 18th- Jesus is Born!
This Sunday Darren Hanson will teach the Ekklesia adults the amazing story of how angels proclaimed the arrival of Jesus to the Earth! Everything about Jesus' arrival to earth was a miracle and changed the lives of all who heard of it! This week we will focus on the special messages delivered by the angels to Mary, Joseph and the shepherds.
Next Sunday, on December 18th Ekklesia will have a birthday party for Jesus and celebrate in a real way his wonderful gift to the earth. It will be a day of eating together and celebrating together his birth so long ago.

Christmas Opportunities to Serve and Connect
1. EKs Christmas Brunch/Gathering- Dec. 18th 10am
On Sunday, Dec. 18th, Ekklesia will have our annual Christmas brunch and gathering. We will gather at the Parkwood Club at 10am for a time of food and fellowship. We will also have a special time of worship centered on the birth of Jesus Christ involving our youth.

2. Food Bank Set Up- Dec. 21st 8:30am-12:00
Workers will be needed on Wednesday morning, Nov. 21st to set up the Food Bank's food supplies and the Christmas gifts in the National Guard Armory for the Christmas distribution.

3. Food Bank's Christmas Food and Gifts distribution-
    Dec. 22nd & 23rd at the Armory- 9:30am til 5:30pm
Volunteers will again be needed over these two days (Thursday and Friday) to help the food bank distribute food and presents to over a thousand families.

Ekklesia Workers Serving in Many Places
During the Christmas season many of our Ekklesia people are serving in many different ways. Some are helping others gather gifts for the needy, some are "Bell Ringers" for the Salvation Army, some are helping a single mom recently separated with needed grocery items, and many of us will be helping at the food bank with their massive food and presents distribution that occurs just days before Christmas. Wherever you may go there will be many ways to serve the Lord and the needy residents of our community. May God receive our gifts of love as we serve our brothers and sisters in need.

Coffee Oasis Family Christmas Project
Holidays are approaching! And for many youth in Kitsap, they have no home and family to celebrate the holidays with. So every year Coffee Oasis hosts a big Christmas party at each of their locations, share a meal, sing songs, and give gifts. All these things tell the kids, "This is your HOME, and we love you."
Ekklesia would like to join this project by sponsoring youths for Christmas, and you can help provide a HOME for holidays for a young man or woman. Contact Sarah Pyke for more  information!

Christmas is Almost Here!
What a beautiful time of year it is when people share their love for Jesus. Lisa and I have enjoyed a short visit to Leavenworth, WA this week with our mom Bobbie Blair and cousin Kathy Copeland. Thank you to all our friends and supporters for your words of encouragement and financial support. Our days are filled with opportunities to bless others and share the love of Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us!
