Dear Gulf Coast Synod,
Rebecca McDonald will be transitioning out of the office and into her love of music. She has served us well for three years and will be greatly missed. 

We have begun our search for a new office manager. The office manager oversees an office with a small staff, provides administrative assistance to the bishop, and coordinates the annual assembly. 
Qualifications
  • An understanding and appreciation for the work of the church
  • Previous experience in office management or other related fields preferred
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Capable with technology (computers, web, Microsoft Office and iOs, general office equipment, etc.)
  • Able to comfortably understand and interpret budget information
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Work Environment

The Gulf Coast Synod offices out of north Houston (close to where I-45 and Beltway 8 meet). Most work occurs in the office with occasional meetings in other locations (travel 10%).
