Why Being Long The US Dollar Is 'Very Very Dangerous' Right Now

The U.S. dollar finished the week just barely positive, and some strategists see the greenback heading lower as political uncertainty mounts.
Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen's fairly hawkish remarks in a press conference Wednesday failed to boost the dollar, which the next day saw its largest one-day drop in over two weeks.
In her two-daysemi-annual testimony on monetary policy before the House Financial Services Committee, Yellen reiterated that the Federal Reserve still expects to raise its federal funds rate target three times this year. Rate hikes tend to boost the value of the dollar, as higher short-term rates mean that those who hold greenbacks are paid more to do so.

Aggiedad77: About Abadi.....he had a boatload of opportunities this weekend.....some of it was a blur.....almost a slight of hands it would seem....what actually transpired......it's got me very curious.....still grounded....but immensely inquisitive as to this "feeling" I've had all weekend long......
Monday into Tuesday....big day.....running AFTER whatever it was that Abadi did and whoever he talked with.....plus Trumps big speech as well.....the BEST is coming......in a way I think will surprise us all.
It's apparent to me....IMO....that Trump is calling the shots......green light to start Mosul.....or is he really telling Abadi....wrap it up.....because your next green light will be coming in say.....2 days.....when both Feds are back at work......
Get ready for a phone call Abadi.....have your catcher's mitt oiled and ready.....we are bringing you out of the minor league for your first big league appearance.....bring that special bat you handmade....make your country proud as you make the rest of the world proud.....and at the same time allow an unprecedented recovery in America......

Opening RV military operations began globally yesterday at 16:00 EST (00:00am Iraq).
This was about the same time the massive Trump distraction began in Melbourne, Florida... and the G20 meeting was midway engaged in Bohn, Germany.
Know one of the biggest concerns military planners had in releasing the RV--and flowing out the scope of money inherent to to the RV--is instantly rehydrating the enemy.
Thus, a "soften the beach" campaign was needed to officially kick off all monetary phases, and why Generals Dunford and Mathis were circling the globe in recent weeks prior, reviewing the troops and setting final attack strategies.

Stranger: Don or anyone.....correct me if I'm wrong....
1) all Mosul is "liberated" BUT...... only the East side of the river which is called the "Left" has been "edited" even though it is on the right side of the river
2) NOW....Abadi today (2:00pm 14:00) initiated "Editing" (clean-up) of West Mosul which is Left of the river. [East Side Mosul is DONE Editing.
3) Mosul is for all practical purposes DONE except for this "Editing" (clean-up)
4) It has taken 5-6 months (started in Sept. or October) to get to where we are at BUT Abadi says the West Mosul editing will go extremely fast
5) How long did it take to "Edit" East Mosul (which is the largest half of the city) after the liberation?
