FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS (formerly the Tri-Art Festival) is a
free family event featuring Dance, Music, and Visual Arts/Crafts Booths in the Ports O'Call Village on the waterfront. This will be its 9th year, and the 5th at this beautiful outside location. This year 21 companies will be performing, and they include pre professional, community, and professional. It is an exciting combination of many styles including traditional ballet and modern as well as ethnic dance forms, hip-hop and tap.
Following is the first published schedule. It may change slightly, and you won't be able to see the length of each set yet. There are drawings for free prizes in between the dances. The
official web site is still set to 2014, and this year's goes up later this week. So feel free to go now---but please return in a few days for 2015 and lots of information on the companies, their styles, and previews.
