Saturday, March 11 for our Megillah reading, costume parade, pantomime, pranks, and party! Evening begins at 5:45 PM with
Minhah/Ma'ariv/Havdalah
, Megillah Reading at 7:15 PM, and party at 9:00 PM.
Come back the next morning, Sunday, March 12 for another Megillah reading (with Shaharit) at 8:45 AM, a Young Family Program at 9:30 AM with Shelley, and the PURIM CARNIVAL, open at 10:00 AM for young families and at 11:00 AM for all!

Temple Emunah is again conducting its annual Matanot la’evyonim (Gifts to the Poor) Purim appeal. Your contribution directly helps local Jews in need. Go to yadchessed.org, click on “Donate Now” and specify Temple Emunah’s name in the dedication field.
You may also mail your check payable to Temple Emunah/Yad Chessed Fund to the temple office, or bring your check or cash contribution to our Megillah reading on Saturday night, March 11 or Sunday morning, March 12.

Our popular Passover fundraiser is back again for your enjoyment. We are selling 4 different delicious organic bars, Dark Chocolate with Almond (55% Cacao), Dark Chocolate Orange (65% Cacao), Mint Chocolate (67% Cacao) and Very Dark Chocolate (71% Cacao). The chocolate bars are $4 each. We are also selling 10 ounce bags of organic semi-sweet chocolate chips (55% Cacao). The chips are produced in a facility that does not process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat and soy. The cost is $5 per bag. Contact

Cyber Trolls, Death Threats and the First Amendment
: From journalists and activists to doctors and politicians, death threats, and particularly anti-Semitic and anti-women cyber threats, have become common fodder on social media. The mechanisms of the internet – its global reach, immediacy and anonymity – have exposed an ugly underbelly of targeted hate. As they consider user rights and First Amendment freedoms, social media platforms are grappling with whether to police, or even prosecute, these threats. Cyber Trolls, Death Threats and the First Amendment on Wednesday, March 15, 7:30 PM, is part of the Jonathan Samen Hot Buttons, Cool Conversations Discussion Series at the JCC – a program of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts. Tickets are $18.

Boston Jewish Food Conference: This annual springtime event on Sunday, March 26, Noon - 7:00 PM, fosters new dynamics and connections within the Jewish community by utilizing food and agriculture to discuss the intersections of justice, sustainability, and culture against a background of Jewish traditions and contemporary life. Our focus this year is on the community networks that comprise our food systems and Jewish communities, both in Boston and regionally across New England.
