Special Election
Vote on  Saturday, February 18, 2017  from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

The Frisco City Council has called a Special Election to fill a vacancy. The election will take place on February 18, 2017. This election will fill City Council  Place 1 with a term expiration of May 2018. 

Election Day voting is at the following locations.

Medical City Frisco Opens Cath Lab
Medical City Frisco opened its new cardiac catheterization lab Tuesday, commemorating the traditionally romantic February 14 with a new name: Heart Day.

The cath lab is outfitted with special diagnostic imaging equipment used by cardiologists to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease. Heart procedures in the lab include placing catheters into the heart's chambers or arteries, a process that is often less invasive than other heart procedures. Read More...
Texas Health Resources Campus in Frisco
Arlington-based Texas Health Resources is planning a 20-acre hospital campus in Frisco that will be located on the southeast corner of the North Dallas Tollway and Cobb Hill Drive.

Frisco's Planning & Zoning Commission voted on Tuesday to approve a preliminary site plan for the new Texas Health Frisco campus. It is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2019. Read More...

Expanding Advocacy Efforts
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is following over 150 bills that have been filed with the Texas State Legislature. We are monitoring bills that will either have a positive or negative impact on our business community. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will continue to work with our elected officials to advocate as the voice of business in Frisco and North Texas.

Learn, Earn and Return
Join us for the first speaker series of Frisco Entrepreneur to be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Event Room. JD Crouse, Principal of Bolder Brand and award winner of Shopify's 2014 Build a Business competition will speak to entrepreneurs about will speak to entrepreneurs about lessons learned and challenges faced along the way!

Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K 
The North Texas Community Giving Foundation, in partnership with The Tug McGraw Foundation, is excited to present the second annual Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K on Saturday, April 15, 2017. What started last year as the first endurance running event for the City of Frisco continues this year with an all-new course and Start/Finish.
