Gene17's River Flow Newsletter

With the UK short courses programme continuing into early spring off the back of this unbelievable la Nina signature. With dozens of course postponements throughout the UK course season, due to a very low rain fall autumn and winter. Thankfully we have managed to run several courses and assessments, simply by being on stand by for when the rare yet favourable conditions arrived.

As the season turns, we're in need of focusing on the coming spring which is but a moment away. Our season will start in Slovenia during late March with our Next Generation Training course with Jakub Sedivy, Deb Pinniger and Simon Westgarth. Straight afterwards our spring trips start on the Soča in Slovenia. Some of our April trips, especially the Fundamental Core trip has good availability.

In Slovenia we have two vans and we're able to run trips in tandem like the Elemental Skills and Fundamental Core in Slovenia, plus also run different destinations concurrently, as with our summer long programmes in Norway and Slovenia. Demand for Gene17Kayaking's services has increased considerably in the last few years and we are aiming to meet the challenges this brings.

In addition to early spring in Corsica and Slovenia, we're be steep creeking in Italy as normal through May and June. Also we're in residence for June in the French Alps, with Andrew Bonney & Bob Timms being on hand for our guided tours and BCU courses. See French Alps Guiding for details. Note also we can accommodate your individual and group requests, whether its in France, Italy, Slovenia or Norway all season long.

Spring Soča Days, soon await in April
