+ CHILI COOK-OFF
KICK OFF
This Sunday, February 19th, Nativity Youth will be hosting a Chili Cook-Off to Kick Off fundraising for the
2018 National Youth Gathering!
This will coincide with our Annual Meeting, so we'll have food, fun, fellowship, and faith as the basis for our congregational conversations.

HOW WILL THE
FUNDRAISER WORK?
There will be envelopes on every table in the fellowship hall. The envelopes will have giving options - you can choose how you'd like to support the youth. You can even take the envelopes home and return them later!

Council Nominations
In addition to this Sunday's Annual Meeting and Chili-Cookoff, we will also be nominating eligible members of Nativity to run for the Congregation Council.
We will have lists of those who are eligible, and all you have to do is fill out a ballot and list up to eight of the names on the list.

Pub Theology is back! Pub Theology started with one of our former vicars, Jared Lee, several years ago.

Women's Wellness Weekend at Lutherock
Women of all ages need to take time to get away and focus on their own wellness. Hannah Ward and Jenny Feid would like to encourage others to join them at beautiful Camp Lutherock
April 21-23 for a weekend in which, according to the program description, "We will focus on ways we can take care of ourselves physically, spiritually, and mentally.
The weekend will be filled with fellowship, Bible study, and various wellness opportunities."

Thank you to all those members from Nativity who are joining us on our bus day trip to the Belk Theatre in Charlotte on
March 11.
We have 31 folks going. It should be a great event. We will be stopping at a great BBQ restaurant in Belmont, NC called Peace'n'Hominy "Q" shack for
lunch before heading into Charlotte for the show.

Faith Formation
Spiritual Gifts - Discover, Connect, and Serve
This is a 6-week Faith Formation journey to learn about Spiritual Gifts - which ones we have, where to use them, and how to use them. Confirmed youth and adults are invited to join in this class. At the end of the 6 weeks, we'll explore how to use our newly identified Spiritual Gifts in and outside Nativity. Ashley Hammack will lead, sharing her passion for Spiritual Gifts with the congregation. We will meet in the North Fellowship Hall.
Intergenerational Faith Formation
Renewed!
Intergenerational Faith Formation will continue through the spring! This class is open to all members of all ages. We will meet in the Middle Fellowship Hall.

GIFT
GIFT - Growing In Faith Together - is an event for our entire Nativity family! Come spend time in fellowship as we learn and grow together. Our first GIFT event will be April 2, from 4-7:30 - our topic is "Generosity."
Dinner will be provided. We are excited about this first event and topic, and look forward to more GIFT events in the future.

They do wonderful work all across the globe, working for justice and equal access.

If you would like to donate flowers to enhance our worship, please sign the chart and note any "in honor of" or "in memory of" designations.
Plan to take the flowers with you after the late service or pick them up on Monday morning. They will be in a disposable container across the hall from Pastor Mark's office.
