LDBA
  • The LDBA AGM will be held on Thursday, February 16th, 2017. Location will be Fox & Hounds, meeting starts at 6 pm, dinner at 6:45 pm.
  • Call for Directors:  The LDBA is made up of a minimum of 9 Directors, 5 of whom form the Executive (President, Past President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary). At the AGM, we will likely lose 3 so are looking for new people to join. We invite you to join our 2017 team.

Retooling and Rebranding of the Spring Home & Business Show

In an effort to bring a larger spotlight, and more support, to the Ladysmith business community, and to bring more emphasis on shopping and supporting local businesses and initiatives, the Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce will be retooling and rebranding the Spring Home & Business Show.  Starting in 2017 the event will now be known as the Ladysmith Business and Volunteer Expo and will be held annually during Small Business Month in early October. The concept for the new event is that it will feature a trade show to showcase local business, product demonstrations including holiday shopping ideas & opportunities, business development workshops, a volunteer fair, family entertainment and more.  Stay tuned over the next few months to find out more about this new and exciting event.
