Summer Camp 2017
Camp Edgewood

Calling all Troops....

Hey Scouters!

Looking for an exciting and engaging summer camp in a relaxed atmosphere? This year Camp Edgewood is pleased to invite you to experience camp with us June 11-17. For our Boy Scouts we have traditional favorites like Aquatics and Shooting Sports courses but will also hold sessions of newer Merit Badges like Exploration, Search and Rescue, and Welding!

For your younger boys we have two great options in Brownsea and Mafeking. Brownsea is for the Scout who just crossed over. It is an immersive full day adventure where they will work on Scouting Heritage, Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, Pioneering, First Aid, and Swimming Merit Badges while working to advance through the Scout, Tenderfoot, Second and First Class Ranks. For those Boys who crossed over earlier in the spring we encourage you to sign them up for Mafeking our newly designed half day program that covers some Advancement Requirements while also earning the Orienteering, Wilderness Survival, and Fishing Merit Badges.

Have any older boys who think they earned everything camp has to offer? Why not talk them into taking a session or two of Adventure Trail (formerly Youth Leader Training) to sharpen their leadership and scouting skills, show them our listing of personal development courses covering topics like resume writing, or let them geek out with us in our more technical and vocationally based vertical courses.

Cub Leaders, your Webelos can't wait to be a Boy Scout...at Webelos Resident Camp they'll get to experience the adventure. Webelos Resident Camp is June 11-14. At camp they get to hang out with the Boy Scouts, work on Adventure Tracks and take a River Canoe Trek on Wednesday down the Ouiska Chitto!

For our Leaders in the Church of Latter Day Saint we've booked in a week just for you June 19-24 and have even programmed  for the Valiant 11 to be able to join in June 19-22.

Finally there might be a youth you know who could benefit spending the full three weeks June 4-24 with us so why not forward them our staff application link so they may work with us or be a counselor in training!
