DS|Design v6.5.2 Update
Included in this release:
  • Material and Plant List documents and spreadsheets can now be created without having Microsoft Office installed. Generated OpenXML files are designed to be compatible with Microsoft Office and LibreOffice.
          
  • Saving to JPEG and PDF will now save the last location used rather than defaulting to the Design folder within Program Files.
          
  • When Softscape Labeling is using a local plant list, clicking Clear Search with a plant type, exposure or moisture specified but without search text will now reset back to showing all plants.
        
  • Revising a raster to the active drawing scale when the insert line tool is open will no longer cause Design to crash.
         
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Design to hang when measuring shapes with curves using Cumulative Area location from Softscape or Hardscape labelling.
             
  • The maximum drawing file path length that can be be opened and saved has been increased from 128 to 200 characters.
          
  • If a raster file can not be found because it or the drawing have been moved, Design will now check for a file with the same name in the directory where the drawing is currently located.
          
  • We have received frequent reports of Windows 10 "disabling" the PDF Writer device during updates. This results in "error code -30". To simplify resolving this issue, we've added a new option in the Help menu of both Design and Color to repair the PDF Writer. This tool will reinstall and reactivate the device in Windows.
