Visions for the End of the World
"Visions for the End of the World" is an original performance piece developed by Hamtramck artist Scott Crandall. Through poetry, image-centric stage work, and movement, "Visions" explores our historical and present relationships to Armageddon and collapse. The piece is framed as a pageant of a shipwrecked prophet's series of apocalyptic visions. Approximately 35 minutes in length, the piece travels from energetic dance routines to desperate prayer to sea shanties to religious ecstasy.
