Exciting to be in a New Year!!
Dear Chamber Members,
It's a New Year at the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce! Thank you 2016 Board President, Lynn Foley of Courtyard by Marriott, for formulating the Chamber's vision to improve the overall perception of Vicksburg- Warren County both inside and outside of the community, as a place to live, work, and learn.
Thank you, Chamber Board members, for your commitment to economic development in improving the quality of life in Vicksburg and Warren County.
Congratulations Mark Buys, this year's Chamber President, for your willingness to continue this vision for economic prosperity for our community. Mark is a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and the President of BancorpSouth.
I will retire on February 22, 2017. Thank you, Chamber Members, for your support and generosity! I appreciate my dedicated staff members, Lois Vinson and Lurline Simmons, your Chamber membership, and all who have been so supportive with their time and resources. If you were at our Annual Chamber meeting last month, you heard many great accomplishments because your Chamber Board Members are leaders and are proactive. Thank you for helping us ring in this New Year with love of our community, good planning, involvement, dedication and willingness to "get the job done"! I will continue to be an active Chamber member as I have great hope and confidence in the future growth and development of Vicksburg and Warren County - my home.
