February 11, 2017: Mommy & Me Dance 
 Mommy & Me Dance is a Valentine's event for moms and their kiddos featuring dancing, a dessert buffet and craft activities. Volunteers are needed to help with check in, raffle tickets and craft activities. Email event chair, Chris Wood, to sign up.

February 18, 2017: Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival
Seeking volunteers (ages 21+) to bar tend, sell drink/food tickets, and hand out t-shirts at the Iowa Event Center. Variety receives a portion of proceeds for providing volunteers. Learn more and sign up here.

March 4 & 5, 2017: 43rd Annual Telethon
Telethon is the foundation that Variety Iowa was built upon and is the highlight of the year. The two-day event is located in the ballroom of the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines and is broadcast live on We Are Iowa (ABC5) throughout Central Iowa. Volunteers are needed to assist in the VIP room, log the telethon activities, assist with transportation needs and be part of the To Go Team. Learn more and sign up here.

Mommy & Me: Sweetheart Dance  
 
Please join us February 11 for the fourth annual Mommy & Me: Sweetheart Dance presented by COUNTRY Financial of Central Iowa.
 
Celebrate with your own little sweetheart(s) and create unforgettable memories. Enjoy dancing, capturing memories,  appetizers & a dessert buffet and getting creative with a craft activity.

Tickets are only available online in advance of the event and space is limited. Tickets for the afternoon dance can be purchased here. The evening dance is sold out.
