Sen. Gardner, Reps. Guthrie and Kinzinger to Keynote INCOMPAS Policy Summit on February 15
The INCOMPAS Policy Summit will feature some of the nation's top lawmakers in Congressional keynote sessions and a Q&A at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. on February 15:
  • Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-KY) serves on the House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Committee and the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. His keynote address will kick off the Policy Summit at 9:05 a.m.
  • Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) is the co-chair of the Senate Cybersecurity Caucus and a member of the Senate Commerce Committee. He will discuss technology policy with a focus on the state of cybersecurity and privacy issues at 11:55 a.m.
  • Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. During a Q&A with INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering at 3:05 p.m., Rep. Kinzinger will discuss the current state, and future of, the communications industry. 

Also on the agenda are panel discussions with speakers from Dish Network, Free Press, Google Fiber, Microsoft, Public Knowledge, Tech Freedom, Twitter, U.S. Cellular, Verizon and Windstream.

CS&L's Gunderman to Keynote The INCOMPAS Show, April 3-5
Gunderman
Kenny Gunderman, president and CEO, Communications Sales & Leasing (CS&L), an internally managed real estate investment trust in which Uniti Fiber is a division, will deliver the keynote address at The INCOMPAS Show, which is taking place April 3-5 in New Orleans.

Gunderman has 17 years of investment banking experience and is focused on expanding and diversifying CS&L's real estate portfolio. He previously served as the co-head of investment banking at Stephens Inc., where he advised on many of the firm's notable investment banking transactions and specifically focused on telecommunications services. During his keynote address, Gunderman will focus on key current trends and future scenarios in the industry and share his industry experience.

Senate Committee to Mark Up Communications Legislation
The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation will hold an executive session on Tuesday, January 24 at 10 a.m. to formally adopt the rules and budget resolution for the 115th Congress and consider the several legislative measures, including the MOBILE Now Act (S.19), Developing Innovation and Growing the Internet of Things (DIGIT) Act (S.88), Improving Rural Call Quality and Reliability Act (S.96), Securing Access to Networks in Disasters (SANDY) Act (S.102) and the Federal Communications Commission Consolidated Reporting Act (S.174).
