New Year - New Website
Did you know that Affordabike not only sells, rents, and repairs bikes but also designs and builds them?  Check out their new website!  It has tons of information, an online shopping tool, and links to their bike lines' websites.  And kudos, Affordabike, on partnering with CARTA for the lost & found bike give-away!


Not only did the online boat charter service, formerly known as USOBE, w in silver for streamlining the chartering process, but it has also become the first boat charter system to offer "instant access to almost 500 captains in more than 55 cities around the world."  Read the article from Biz Wire  here .
BB&T Makes Capacity Building Grant to LDC
Through "one of the strongest capacity building programs in our community," BB&T has awarded a $60,000 grant to the LDC.  BB&T's Community Development vision statement includes "enriching our neighborhoods through community development leadership and innovation," and this generous act of philanthropy exemplifies it.  The LDC's plans for the award are to complete a comprehensive strategic plan and improve the organization's technology.  Thank you, BB&T!
