The Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz

Jewish Museum Milwaukee, a program of the MJF, 1360 N. Prospect Ave.

Fifty years after defying Nazi orders at the age of 15,  Esther was determined to show her daughters the family she had lost. She created a series of 36 hauntingly beautiful, exquisitely detailed works of fabric collage and embroidery. Learn More

The Milwaukee Jewish Federation has several grants and scholarship opportunities:

* One Happy Camper provides grants up to $1,000 for first-time campers at Jewish overnight camps.

*
Scholarships available for Jewish overnight camps and summer Israel programs for young people.

* Semester or year in Israel from the Sarah B. and Louis M. Kesselman Israel Program Scholarship Fund.

* Hecht Family Memorial College Scholarship Fund to outstanding Jewish high school seniors to help fund the college freshman year .
