Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Friends,

I want to begin this week by extending a special invitation to attend the first Trinity UMC Community Conversation next Monday, January 30 at 7pm. This new experience, which we anticipate occurring quarterly, will be an informative time for the whole church. The gatherings will include a presentation about a particular topic of interest or area of ministry in the life of Trinity, followed by a time for asking questions in response to the presentation as well as an open-ended time of question and answer about other topics that may be of interest to attendees. At this first Community Conversation, Catherine and I will share some key observations from our first six months as your co-pastors, as well as provide an important update on the finances and stewardship of the church. We encourage you to RSVP here for the gathering so that our staff team can best prepare for the evening.

I hope you are learning and growing through our worship series on Vital Signs of a Healthy Marriage. Perhaps some of you are even experiencing a little more intimacy this week with your spouse! This week we will shift gears a little as we consider those times when marriage feels "Not So Happily Ever After." What happens when there is deep pain and struggle, sometimes brought on by actions of one or both of the spouses and at other times caused by circumstances beyond their control? How does a marriage find the grace to persevere through the brokenness? And are there times when reconciliation simply is not possible? These are the questions I'll consider in my message this Sunday. I look forward to seeing you there.

Grace and Peace,
Steve
