Savannah Technical College participates 
in Solar for Schools Program
 
Savannah Tech received a $233,000 matching grant for students to gain experience in the solar industry. Students will use the knowledge they acquire in the classroom and apply it to installing solar projects on campus.  Read more

Tax return checkoff donation supports land conservation in Georgia
 
Conservation-minded Georgians wanting to help preserve the state's natural resources have the opportunity to donate to the Georgia Land Conservation Program through their 2016 state income tax forms.  Read more

Communities receive financing for environmental infrastructure
 
The GEFA board of directors awarded 12 communities $26,145,000 for environmental projects during its November meeting. Nine communities received Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loans, two communities received Clean Water State Revolving Fund loans, and one community received a Georgia Fund loan.  Read more
