Important Reminders &
Course Conditions
|
- There is NO Bike check/valet on Saturday. Please bring your bicycle and the rest of your gear on Sunday only.
- Saturday's pre-race talks with Tri La Vie and Coach Russ Jones are optional. Youth and adults are welcome.
- The Race Director will have a mandatory course talk and review the rules at 7:30 am and will take place in the Transition Area on the Soccer Field.
- One parent may enter the Transition Areas per youth participant (under 18). Parents can receive a wristband at Packet Pickup. They must wear at all times for access to the Transition Areas.
- All triathletes must pick up their own packet and show their ID and USAT card if they are a member (youth 17 & under exempt).
- The pool is heated to 81 degrees.
- After intense rain, we are having several days of time to dry out, which should leave the trails in good condition for Sunday's race. We are monitoring closely and will make any adjustments as needed for safety.
- We will be out Saturday to sweep away any debris for a smoother course.

Join 2016 USA Triathlon Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Russ Jones for a course talk prior to race day. Be prepared for the event and learn about course specifics and bike safety throughout the park.
Russ offers Coaching through Philosophy Trilessismore with great results on a personal level and with coaching clients. He once ran a 2:18 marathon qualifying for the USA Olympic Trials Marathon and a 1:05 Half Marathon. He ranked number one in the 50-54 Age Group and has numerous national titles from USA Triathlon.
Pre-Race Course Talk with Tri La Vie

At the Race Venue on the Soccer Field next to the Transition Area
Triathlon, Run and Swim Coach Martha Szufnarowski will provide a summary of what to expect at the race, an overview of triathlon rules and a walking tour of the race site including transition and equipment set-up. You'll feel very prepared to race!
Important Reminders for Packet Pickup!
- For the TRIATHLON You must pick up your own packet. USAT Rules prohibit someone else picking up your packet for you. If you cannot come to early packet pickup on Saturday, you can pick up on Sunday morning as early as 6:30am.
- Bring your photo ID! NO ID, NO BIB, NO EXCEPTIONS! (Youth 17 & Under Exempt)
- For the 5K - you can pick up a packet for someone else with a copy of their ID AND a signed waiver (click to download).

mandatory for all triathletes. Participants can purchase a 1-Day license onsite at the event for $15 (Adult) or $10 (Youth 17 & under). Relays purchase per person.
