Winners' Circle Exhibit 2017 Reception
     
Please join your fellow artists and craftspeople at the opening reception for the Winners' Circle Exhibit 2017 on Friday, Feb. 3, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at  the Naples Art Association, downtown Naples. 
The exhibit again celebrates the award-winning creations of those working at the Art Council's member organizations. 

This wine and cheese reception will feature the announcement of the judge's awards in the 2D and 3D categories, along with the Presidents' awards in those categories, and a brief overview of council  highlights for 2017.

All exhibiting artists, along with one guest may attend for free. All other guests will be $10.



Some (more) changes for 2017 

Change is obviously the big word this year, and the Arts Council of Southwest Florida is currently going through some of our own.

At the January meeting Aimee Schlehr resigned as President and Don Long (your correspondent for this email) was elected Interim President. Additionally, Jeanette Igoe resigned as Treasurer.  The Council is extremely grateful to both Aimee and Jeanette for the many hours of time and service they have given to this organization.

With these changes, we would hope that the transitions will be quick and easy, but reality often suggests otherwise. So I am asking for a large amount of patience and, just as important, your feedback concerning how the Council can best serve you, our affiliated art organizations and the members of those organizations.

Above all, we ask for you talents and whatever time you can contribute to the Art Council -- and to art.
