Dan Flattery
Northern California Regional Director 
The WREAA Board of Directors welcomes Dan Flattery (BBA 2008) who was elected to serve as the Northern California Regional Director in September. Dan is an Associate for Northwestern Mutual Life and has worked in San Francisco sourcing new investments for Northwestern Mutual's $40 billion real estate portfolio since 2011. Prior to this role, Dan served in Northwestern Mutual's underwriting group where he facilitated the review and approval of more than $3 billion of transactions.

Eric Komppa
Colorado/Texas Regional Director
Eric Komppa (MBA 2009) has joined the WREAA Board as the Colorado/Texas Regional Director. Eric is the Vice President of Investments at Corum Real Estate Group. Eric's responsibilities include sourcing, managing and procuring acquisitions and development opportunities for Corum. Prior to joining Corum Real Estate Group, Eric worked in Seattle for Bentall Kennedy, a pension advisory firm. Eric is active in both the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP. Welcome to the WREAA Board Eric!

2017 WREAA Scholarship Program Underway
The Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA) is now accepting applications for 2017 scholarship opportunities. Four scholarships will be available to UW Real Estate students for the 2017-2018 academic year: The WREAA Graduate and Undergraduate Scholarships which consist of (1) $5000 graduate scholarship and up to (2) $2000 undergraduate scholarships; in honor of recently retired Professor, Stephen Malpezzi, the "Tradition and Innovation Scholarship", consisting of one (1) $5000 scholarship, open to both Graduate and Undergraduate students; and the Dianne M. Orbison Memorial Real Estate Scholarship Award, consisting of (1) $5000 scholarship award.  It is not possible to apply for these scholarships through the UW Real Estate Program scholarship process. Applications are available on the WREAA website and must be submitted directly to the WREAA office.
