We hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! Just a reminder that Arlington County Schools are closed on Friday for Inauguration Day, so this is going to be a rare three-day week for the kids.
Interested in learning more about the Arlington Outdoor Education Association's (AOEA) Outdoor Lab? Abingdon's third and fifth graders travel to the Outdoor Lab where they explore the wilderness and learn about simple machines, weather, and wildlife. Fairlington resident (and Abingdon grandparent), Carol Goodloe will be on hand to present information and answer questions about the Outdoor Lab at our
PTA Meeting TONIGHT at 6:30 pm in the Gym Trailer. As always, there will be free pizza and babysitting available for all kids ages 3 and up. PTA meetings are also wonderful opportunities to learn more about what's going on at Abingdon and are attended by Abingdon's Principal Joanne Uyeda and Assistant Principal Blandine LiGuidi.
