Ron Shay Alumni Basketball Tournament
The 26th annual Ron Shay Alumni Basketball Tournament, which has become a holiday tradition for many alumni, was held on Sunday, December 18 at Bishop Watterson. Sixteen teams participated in three brackets this year.
Winners of this year's tournament were the classes of 1991, 2000, 2006, and 2014.
Participants and fans watched football and were treated to pizza, wings, and refreshments in Dominican Hall following the games.

The Alumni Department would like to thank event chair Steve Devlin '96, photographer Jeff Soiu '68, and volunteers Joe Hill '63, Mike Rea '62, Carol Judy Stewart '64, E.J. Davis '75, Kathy Bryant '80, and Anne Flood Campbell '80 for helping to make this event a great success.

Men's Night 2017 Featuring Urban Meyer

8th Grade Registration Time
Do you have an 8th grader? We would love to have your child become a member of the Bishop Watterson family! High school is a time of life when you want your child who is turning into an adult to stretch academically, grow in faith and explore interests within a community of families who feel as you do.

Colleges love to see our students coming. The class of 2016, at 218 members, earned more than $21 million in college merit scholarships. They gave more than 26,000 hours in service to their communities outside of the Sophomore Service Project.

Give your child the advantages Bishop Watterson has been striving to teach our students since 1954: faith, discipline and excellence.

Classroom Project Event Set for February 1

Bishop Watterson has undergone numerous changes to the facilities over the past decade and we're hoping to keep the ball rolling with the remodeling of more classrooms this summer.
All alumni, family and friends are invited to join Deacon Chris Campbell '77, Mike Kenney '93 and Nick King '93 as they present their plan and vision for remodeling the remaining 14 classrooms on February 1 at 6:30 p.m.in Dominican Hall (part of our south addition in 2009). Mr. King and Mr. Kenney, owners of Preferred Living, began their support of Bishop Watterson High School in 2013 with the creation of our business classroom. Since then, with the support of additional donors, they have remodeled 14 more classrooms and replaced the windows and doors on the north and east sides of the building. We invite you to visit on February 1, tour our classrooms and consider supporting this year's remodeling project. Click here to let us know you will attend.
Feeder School Nights
We will be honoring Sister Sally Duffy at halftime of the girls basketball game on Thursday, February 2. Sister was a pioneer of girls' sports at Bishop Watterson! Join us as we recognize her accomplishments!
In Service to Others
The Alumni Department provides service at St. Lawrence Haven on the second Wednesday of each month, preparing and packaging meals for the daily lunch line. We normally volunteer from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
St. Lawrence Haven is the St. Vincent de Paul-run sack lunch program. St. Lawrence Haven is located behind Holy Cross Church at the corner of Rich and Main streets downtown. Approximately 300-500 meals are served each day. The staff at St. Lawrence Haven is very appreciative of the assistance we provide and we are very thankful for the alumni and friends who have taken time out of their busy schedules to help with this service endeavor!

If you are interested in helping, please email Terri Kernan at tkernan@cdeducation.org. We would love to have you join us!
