One popular activity at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs is a photo booth. Photo booths come in all shapes and sizes, from enclosed booths, to open air, green screen, graffiti walls, animated GIFs, social media sharing and much much more, at Mitzvah List we are overwhelmed thinking about the multitude of options. For this reason, we reached out to our amazing photo booth vendors to find out what is hot:
Magic Mirror:
Are you looking for a unique and fun photo activity at your event? Offered by both Box of Fun Photobooths and Star Trax, your guests will see themselves in a full length mirror, which takes their photo while displaying fun sayings. This unique and fun photo booth takes up to three pictures and prints on a 4x6 photo. Click here to see the Magic Mirror in action.
Roaming Photographers:
Instead of your guests waiting in line for a traditional photo booth, why not consider a roaming photographer? TapSnap offers a roaming photographer that captures candid shots from around your event. The photos are then streamed to the TapSnap photo booth or iPad sharing station where your guests can instantly print, email or share on social media.
Photo Booth: Digital Dan and Photo Blast Photo Booth offer a state of the art, professional quality photo booth with advanced facial recognition. This means that the photo booth knows how many people are in the booth and automatically prints enough copies for each guest. This new photo booth holds up to 10 people and allows for digital uploads to social media, text messages, email as well as video messaging.
Green Screen:
You've seen the behind the scenes features that show how special effects are created using a green screen. Using those same techniques, green screen photo booths provide a fun activity and plenty of non-stop entertainment. Animated Green Screen: In addition regular green screen photos, TapSnap also offers animated green screens. This fun option can be customized for your child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah theme and uploaded instantly to social media.
Air Graffiti Touch:
Box of Fun Photobooths offers a graffiti touch photo booth that is tons of fun! After your guests' pictures are taken, they are shown on a 55 inch screen television. Your guests will then have the option to add props and have fun decorating their 4x6 photo. Each person in the picture gets a copy to take home.
Animated GIFs:
Memory Box Photo Booths and Star Trax offer an animated GIF photo booth. The photo booth shoots sequential images and produces an animated GIF that can be printed or shared on social networks instantly. Animated GIFs are all the rage and super fun.
Firefly and Mini-Firefly Kiosk:
The Firefly or Mini-Firefly Kiosk offered by Star Trax is a touch screen photo booth and piece of décor. The photo booth has LED lights that can be adjusted to the colors of your party. The Mini-Firefly has a unique pivoting top to capture the little kids all the way up to the taller adults. Lip Sync Booth:

iClick Photo Booth:
Memory Box Photo Booths and Michigan Event Services offer the iClick photo booth that includes a versatile and easy to tilt camera. Having a camera that tilts is a must when you have an event that includes small children. The photo booth has the capability of creating photos, videos, green screen, GIF animation, slo mo video, hashtag printing (see photo booth add ons below), as well as social media share capabilities.
Light Painting:
Light Painting by ShutterBooth allows guests to decorate their prints in real-time with glo sticks in a larger, light-tight booth. Guests enter the booth, take a photo and spend up to 30 seconds decorating the photos by waving glo sticks. ShutterBooth's studio quality camera utilizes an extremely slow shutter speed to capture the waves of light. As always, the client may adorn the prints with a customized layout and all packages include unlimited pictures and guest reprints.
LED Photo Booth:
Michigan Event Services offers an LED open air photo booth that is a colorful experience. The exterior of the booth is translucent and includes music activated lights that allows the photo booth to change colors as the music plays. The photo booth works great with a social media kiosk that allows guests to instantly share their photos with family and friends.
Studio Photo Booth: TapSnap is now offering a new smaller and more cost-effective photo booth, that produced big results. This is a great option for small events or venues with space limitations.

SnapChat Filters:
Tap Snap and Star Trax also offer custom event filters for your celebration. These filters are available for guests that use SnapChat. Filters include artwork matching the theme of your event, logos or other verbiage.
Slo Mo Booth:
With Shutterbooth's Slo Mo Booth, guests can pick dynamic props (glitter, silly string, confetti, jiggling hats, etc.) and have fun in front of our studio quality HD video camera (up to 240 fps). The software takes 7 seconds of guest action and immediately converts it into a 30 second slow motion video to share. Guests may immediately preview their videos and then share them online. They can also choose from a variety of stock backdrops and custom overlays to decorate the videos. All traditional ShutterBooth photo services are also offered with the Slo Mo Booth, so guests may also take more traditional DSLR photos, which include custom print layouts, unlimited guest reprints and a memory book. Social Media Wall:

Face Morphing:
This ShutterBooth add-on (available with any style booth or package) allows guests to face morph with a predetermined face. For example, a country music themed celebration might offer guests the ability to morph into Taylor Swift!
