Tuition Assistance - FACTS Application Available
The application process for tuition assistance and scholarships begins in January of each year when the applications become available. The FACTS application is the application for tuition assistance and must be completed for any need-based scholarship opportunity as well.
FACTS applications are due back to the FACTS company before their March 31, 2017 deadline.
Scholarship Applications
Scholarship applications will be available
beginning March 6, 2017 in the Main Office and on the school's website.
Scholarship applications are due Monday, April 3, 2017. Both the scholarships awards and tuition assistance will be announced by the beginning of June.
Men's Club Meeting
The Resurrection Men's Club is a formal organization whose primary goal is to provide a school-based group for the adult males who play a significant role in the life of a Resurrection student.
All fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other adult male members of the student's extended family are welcome to participate at any of the club meetings or events. The upcoming
Men's Club meeting is this week on
Tuesday, January 17 at 7 pm in the Cafeteria.
Sophomore Retreat
The Sophomore retreat theme is "Charity and Truth" and will be held on
Thursday, January 19 at St. John Brebeuf. Sophomores have r
egular arrival and dismissal times and may wear Res apparel. Lunch will be provided.
Sophomores should report to the Little Theatre at 8:15 am and sit in their assigned seminar seats. After attendance is taken, students will board the buses to St. John Brebeuf.
The student Campus Ministry Anastasia leadership team will be running the retreat for the school by giving talks and leading small groups and activities.
Please keep the sophomores and their leaders in your prayers that they may have a wonderful retreat.
Charity & Truth "Ruby" Gala - Reservations NOW Available
The
Charity & Truth Gala will be held
Saturday, February 25, 2017, and we are gearing up for a wonderful event to celebrate our 95th "Ruby" Anniversary. Parent tables are now forming - talk to fellow parents and friends and
make your reservations as soon as possible. We are looking forward to a sold-out event!
Gala Basket & Wine Donations
Perhaps Santa brought you something you did not want or need for Christmas or you have lovely unused items around the house.
Consider donating gift items to Res for our Charity & Truth Basket Raffle (non-seasonal items are preferred). Bring donations to the Main Office any time - your gift can be the gift that keeps on giving! We will also begin taking
Wine Donations in January for our Gala Baskets. Please be sure to have someone 21 or older bring the wine directly to the Main Office as students are not allowed to bring in these donations.

Class of 2018 - ACT Prep Courses at Res
Resurrection College Prep High School will be hosting an ACT prep course through the One-to-One testing company on Saturdays starting January 28 and Sundays starting
January
29. This class can help students prepare for the April ACT. Spots are still available. Please stop by the Guidance Office to pick up a registration form or call One-to-One directly at

Winter Athletic Banquet for Basketball and Bowling is scheduled for
February 23.
Class of 2017 student-athletes who will be playing college athletics will be honored at a Senior Athletic Signing program on Friday, March 31 during Seminar A (11:13-11:58 am) in the Little Theatre. Seniors should share information about plans to participate in college athletics with Athletic Director Mr. Kane and the Guidance Office.

Chipotle fundraiser from
noon to 4 pm at Chipotle at 119 S. Northwest Hwy in Park Ridge on January 25. Why not head over for lunch following early dismissal? 50% of the proceeds will be donated back to Res.
