Ronald J. Francis, 76, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was born November 25, 1940, in Wadsworth to the late John and Helena Francis.
Mr. Francis attended Wadsworth High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Barefoot Sole.
He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Henry Evans and his favorite nephew Bubby Book.
Ron is survived by his sister and favorite brother-in-law Patricia and Butch Book of Wadsworth, sister Barb Meade of Rittman, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth, with Fr. Joseph Labak Celebrant. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
