National Youth Leadership Training
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)  is an exciting, action-packed program designed for Boy Scouts and Venturers to provide them with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.  This year's course will be June 5-10 at  Cricket Holler Scout Camp .
Friends of Scouting
Providing a high quality Scouting program requires a significant investment and a key is scheduling your unit's Friends of Scouting presentation. Setting a date now allows for planning of presenters and materials. Please include a FOS presentation in your unit's plans between January and April. Silver Beaver
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest council recognition awarded to registered adults for distinguished service to youth, upon nomination by the local Council to the National Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of America.

Scouting For Food
On March 11th and 18th, Scouts, Scouters and family members will take part in a 29-year-old community service project tradition...Scouting for Food.  Scouts, units and families are all encouraged to do their part to help our friends and neighbors in need through this local food collection effort in every community across our council.  Visit the  Scouting for Food page for additional details and to request collection bags.  Thanks to Dayton Power and Light for their continued support of this program.
