Selecting a major and transferring to a university is a multi-step process that may involve extensive research on your part.  If you have not identified possible majors and career options you may find yourself struggling with motivation due to lack of direction. Not having clear educational goals often leads to difficulty with your academic planning due to the uncertainty of your academic pathways, career goals and appropriate transfer options.

When you take the time to identify possible majors and career goals then you're able to find more specific career and transfer options and develop a comprehensive Student Education Plan that will help you meet your goals!

It is a known fact that the majority of new-to-college students have not chosen a major or if they do have a major, they may change their major multiple times before they graduate.  Choosing a major can be stressful and challenging; however the Schall Career Center is here to support your major and career exploration.
