Two January 14th Events Canceled Due to Weather
--Strangers in Their Own Land Book Discussion Canceled
The book discussion will not meet on Saturday, January 14 due to the uncertainty of icy conditions. The group plans to meet Saturday, January 21 but that is the date of the women's marches on Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis. Please email barbaracarlson5@gmail.com if you cannot attend the book discussion on January 21.

What's Happening in R.E. This Week?
9:15am preschool will be cooking as part of our January Intersession. 11:15am preschool will hear a story about Henry David Thoreau. Our K-6th graders will be continue learning about Joseph Priestley through cooking, drama and science. Our Whole Lives Sexuality education for 7th-8th grade will not meet this Sunday. High school youth group will meet at 12:30pm for a potluck lunch with the minister and work on their youth-led service.

Pictorial Directory Portrait Session Sign Ups Continue Online
Paper Sign Up Available January 15
Sign up for a portrait session for our fancy new pictorial church directory by
going online at this link. We will also have paper sign up sheets available at church January 15.
Photo sessions are Jan 25-28 and Feb 1-4. Monday, March 20 is available for those who are out of town in January and February. Please participate! Portrait sessions are free and will take about an hour. You'll receive a free 8x10 portrait and you can purchase more if you like.

Our Reproductive Justice Task Force (RJTF) is collaborating with Yarns Unlimited to knit pink Pussyhats to wear at the Women's March in Washington and the rally in Indianapolis on January 21st.
Hats are $20 each. Proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky's Women's Health Fund.

UU will host the CommUNITY Interfaith Habitat Build Musical Festival here in our Meeting Room on
Friday, February 24
, a fund-raiser for the spring interfaith Habitat for Humanity build.
Musicians from our congregation and other faith communities will perform.
