ALUMNI BRIEFS
 
Doug Burson '85 - played baseball and football at Benedictine University from where he received a B.A degree in Education and a Masters degree from Chicago State.  He is currently a physical education teacher at Granger Middle School in Naperville School District 204.  He coaches both football and wrestling at that level.  He and his wife, Julie, live in Yorkville with their son Doug and daughter Anna.

Amy Dick Kennedy '85
- graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. degree in Journalism.  She currently is a Senior Vice- President of Golin, a global communications firm.  Along with her husband, Tim, they are raising three children, Clare, Maeve, Declan, in Chicago.

David Dick '90 - is also a Jayhawk having graduated from Kansas with a B.A. degree in Communications.  He is currently working in media sales for Wikia, Inc., a company which operates a network of collaboratively published content on the Web for various fan communities worldwide.  He and his wife, Kate, reside in Chicago with their daughter Charlotte.  

Charlie Duax '91 - is currently pursuing a degree in Nature Photography.   He is a member of the Elmhurst Artist Guild, and has exhibited his work, which incorporates technology into his artwork, at the Elmhurst Art Museum.  He makes Naperville his home.
David '03 & Samantha Bueche 
 
Jeanne Duax Jakob '93 - holds a PhD from Case Western and continues her studies.  Previously she worked with the Veteran's Administration connected with the University of Michigan doing research and interviewing vets.  She and her husband, Mathias, are raising their son, Evan in Palo Alto, CA where she now supervises graduate students majoring in psychology.
 
David Bueche '03 - earned a B.A. in Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University.  He also has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.  David, and his wife of two years, Samantha, live in Berlin, Germany where he presently is a Safety & Reliability Engineer for Rolls-Royce Aerospace.
 
Laura Bueche '04 - received her B.S. in Occupational Science at St. Louis University.  She also holds a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the same university.  Currently she is both a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and an Aquatic Occupational Therapist for Easter Seals in the DuPage and Fox Valley region.  Laura makes her home in Villa Park.
 
Matt Dambach '01 - upon graduating from Benet, Matt enrolled at Marquette University, from where he received his degree in Political Science in 2009.  He was then employed as an intern for about a year by Congressional Representative Judy Biggert working part of the time in Washington, D.C., and also in her District office in Willowbrook, IL.  Matt then enrolled in DePaul University Law School and graduated with a law degree in 2013 and passed the Illinois Bar.  He is currently an Assistant States Attorney in the office of Robert Berlin, the DuPage County States Attorney.  Matt married Kathleen Matheny at Saints Peter and Paul Church this past June and then moved to Lisle.

Laura Bueche '04
Sean Dougherty '04 - matriculated to Northern Illinois University where he earned a B.A. in Marketing.  He then enrolled at Loyola University's Business School (Chicago) and received a M.A. in the same field.  He is employed as a marketing manager for ReaderLink in Oakbrook.  They are the largest full-service distributor of hardcover, trade and paperback books to non-trade channel booksellers in North America, including the biggest names in retail across multiple retail channels.

Megan Domagola '05 - graduated from St. Mary's College (Notre Dame, IN) with degrees in both elementary education and special education.  She began her professional career as the resource teacher at St. John the Baptist School in Winfield.  Next, she relocated to New York in the summer of 2015 where she was a pre-school teacher at St. Joseph of Yorkville on the upper east side of New York.  A previous captain of the Benet swim team, she also taught swimming at the Convent of Sacred Heart.  This fall, she returned to the Chicagoland area and is currently a teacher at Bright Horizons, an Early Childhood Center near Millennium Park.
