In Observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, t he college is closed Monday, Jan. 16. The DSC Library has compiled a reference guide about the life and legacy of Dr. King; learn more at library.daytonastate.edu/mlk

As students return to the campuses for the start of classes on Tuesday, Jan. 17, it's important to get one thing right day one;  be on time and allow time for on-campus parking. On DSC's Daytona Beach Campus, the north parking lot has an area that's cordoned off for construction; a new parking area is open adjacent to Schildecker Science Hall (bldg. 410) and overflow parking will available by the ball park off Willis Ave., and also behind the women's softball field. Use Willis and White streets to access that side of campus. Campus Safety Officers will provide golf cart shuttle service to assist students and visitors.
Tip: arrive early for convenient parking.
