NPR News will provide special coverage on Inauguration Day, Friday, Jan. 20. Hosts Steve Inskeep and Audie Cornish will begin coverage at 9 a.m. as Donald J. Trump is sworn in as the 45th President of the United States at the Capitol in Washington, DC. Live coverage will include speeches, newsmaker interviews, reports from around the Capitol and the National Mall, and analysis from NPR's political team.

At 1 p.m., Here and Now's Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson host coverage of the inaugural luncheon and parade. Live on-air coverage is expected to end by 3 p.m. Online, look for NPR's live blog and fact checks of speeches, available on KGOU.org.

2015 Tiny Desk Contest winner (now a Grammy nominee) Fantastic Negrito performed on late-night TV last week

NPR Music is once again putting out a call for unsigned musicians to be "discovered" in another Tiny Desk Contest. Last year's entries hailed from all 50 states, with several innovative entries from talented Oklahoma artists. The contest opens for entries tomorrow (Jan. 13) so pick out your own desk, tune up your instruments, and start recording!
