One Book One Province
The inaugural One Book One Province project is upon us.   Events during the month of March will include celebration events in Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert, and an author tour throughout the province. As well the website will provide information to support programs and activities in local branches of libraries and in institutions and schools. It is definitely time to start thinking and planning. A poster will be distributed throughout the province in February.
If you don't have access to sufficient numbers of books then perhaps you want to consider getting ahead of the demand on the current supply. Information on the website. http://saskla.ca/program/one-book-one-province

Incredible Programming Possibilities for your Library
The Yorkton Film Festival (YFF) is seeking partnerships with Saskatchewan libraries in the organization of screenings to recognize Canada 150. The films we can offer (without charge) centre on diversity, one of the four themes for the 2017 events. Because the Festival was fortunate to receive a Canada 150 grant, we can also provide assistance with expenses:
* speaker honoraria,
* a professionally designed poster/advertising template,
* promotion.   Read More
