From the Principal's Desk
Dear Families,
A big thank you goes out to our remarkable middle school staff for the inspiring information night they hosted
on Tuesday evening. The middle school experience begins with excellent teachers and staff, combined with committed families creating an environment for success. Our middle school team takes the time to know their students both in and out of the classroom utilizing Top 20's motto "Human Being Proceeds Human Doing" creating trusting and caring relationships with their students. This opens doors for deeper academic and social questions from students leading to more rigorous lessons and a just right learning level for all.
Another big thank you goes out to Ben Gabbard, Allison Keller and Jack Lewis, former St. Michael Middle School Students and their parents who came to share their middle school experience and how it has helped them in high school and beyond.
We are committed to giving our students the "big school" experience while maintaining our small class sizes. In middle school, your students will continue with two sections in subjects such as math and language arts, yet offer larger sections in subjects such as phy-ed and music which will allow teachers to be more creative with their curricular units.
Blessings,
Laurie Maxwell
Principal

Exciting Offer for Kindergarten and New Families
We shared in a previous update that we are experiencing a high level of interest in our Kindergarten program. We are also receiving many inquiries from families with older students looking for a new school environment. In order to be proactive in our staffing and budgeting for next school year, we have opened 2017-2018 pre-registration for Kindergarten and new families. Submitting a registration form and fee before January 31 will secure future Blues a spot in our school and lock in 2016-2017 tuition rates.
Please help us spread the word to families you know that are considering St. Michael for their children.
