Join Local 802 at the Women's March on NYC on Saturday, Jan. 21 and march in promotion of civil rights for every human regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion or creed.
Local 802 is a fully registered group. Join us, bring your friends, your families and your neighbors, and peacefully demonstrate to the incoming administration and the world that we stand against discrimination, civil injustice, sexual harassment and unfair treatment.
The march takes place on Saturday, Jan. 21. Specific meeting time and location are to be determined, but staggered march times begin at 11 a.m., starting at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 833 1st Avenue at East 48th street and ending at Trump Tower. More details will be shared in the coming days.
Join us on Monday, Jan. 30 for a celebration of the life of Bob Cranshaw (1932-2016). We'll enjoy community, music, stories, refreshments, and -- above all -- memories of Bob.
Feel free to bring a photo, card or favorite memory of Bob to include in the guest book as a keepsake for his wife and family so they can continue to celebrate this amazing man and incredible musician.
Monday, Jan. 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Saint Peter's Church. Hosted by the Cranshaw family and the Jazz Foundation of America.
