"Daring faith requires taking risk. It requires the courage to step up and face the 'giants'. . . and to face the unknown. It might be easier to stay in our comfort zone, but when we bravely step out to where God has called us, history is made and lives are changed forever."

New Security Upgrades at First Pres
When you visit First Pres during the day, you will need to use the intercom and buzzer to gain access to the building at both the Rotunda and Parish House Office. It is located just to the left of the main Rotunda Door, and Parish House Door. If you have a need to access the building before 8:30 am or after 8:00 pm Monday - Friday, any time on Saturdays, or on Sundays after 1:00 pm, you will need to contact the office to make arrangements. The weekend lock schedule will depend on the use of the church but generally it is only open when the custodian is here on Saturday and Sunday. For events and special programs the doors will have special schedules for unlocking and locking with each event/program.

We have had great success with the initial security phase in the preschool area; now we are able to implement greater security by having all of our exterior doors locked during the day. This will help us to know who is accessing the building, and particularly helpful since we have been unable until now to monitor the Rotunda door entrance. We are grateful for this very important implementation of our security plans, and hope you will be patient and positive during this time of transition and new procedures.
