Maryland Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities' 13th Annual Health Equity Conference

MHHD's 13th Annual Maryland Health Equity Conference was held December 13, 2016, at Martin's West.  This year's theme was "Achieving Health Equity through Community Engagement and Innovative Health Care Delivery" and the conference highlighted community initiatives and strategies that have been implemented in Maryland to address the social determinants of health.

The conference program and select speaker's presentations are available for viewing on the MHHD website

Survey Opportunity

The  Maryland Clinical Crisis Walk-In Services and Mobile Crisis Team Survey , developed by the Maryland Behavioral Health Advisory Council's (BHAC) Executive Committee, was created to meet the requirements of Senate Bill 551.  Senate Bill 551 requires the development of a strategic plan for ensuring availability of 24/7 clinical crisis walk-in services and mobile crisis teams statewide.

The survey questions have been designed to generate feedback related to the availability of clinical crisis walk-in services and mobile crisis teams and to help identify priorities that will be used to guide decision-making as we work to expand these services.

For additional information on the survey and to participate, click here

Note:  The survey closes on Tuesday, January 31, 2017
