Spring ACT and SAT Tests are Approaching

If you have a junior in high school, you're probably feeling overwhelmed by the upcoming college admission process. The best way to confidently apply to college is to start standardized tests early, so that your child can take the preferred test multiple times.

Plan for your child to take a standardized test at least twice to give them the best chance of a high score.

If you are not sure whether your child should take the SAT or ACT, please see the article below.

We often see students who feel more comfortable with one test over the other, so if you have the time to start early, we can create the best action plan for them.

The next SAT will be March 11th and then May 6th.
The next ACT will be February 11th and then April 8th.

Remember, your child needs time to take the
SAT  Subject Tests!

Online Tutoring is a Great Option for Your Family

Many families contact us from outside the Boston area looking for top-notch tutors, so now you can choose the best tutor fit for your child regardless of location! Online tutoring can be a great opportunity for your child to receive the same tutoring services anywhere in the world, any time of day.

Boston Tutoring Services offers downloadable teaching resources and proprietary materials for shared use. Tutors share resources and materials prior to tutoring sessions so students can access these and work on them during sessions. Additionally,
tutors assign personalized materials for your
child to work with between sessions.

Confused about the new SAT test format?

Call us today to learn about the changes and
how your child should prepare.

The redesigned SAT has several changes: there are no deductions for incorrect answers; the 50-minute Essay portion is optional and is reported separately; the Math and Reading/Writing scores each range from 200 to 800 points, so the total SAT score ranges from 400 to 1600 points, with additional sub-score reporting for each test.

Our tutors have been fully trained in the new content
and test-taking strategies.  Click Here  to see the training module we have prepared that covers all changes on the new SAT.
